Helicopter Flight Data Monitoring Workshop – March 7, 2011 08:00 – 17:00

Overview:
A full day educational event that will help prepare operators to implement this proactive safety program. This year’s workshop, organized by the IHST, will provide information for both large and small operations. Most importantly, attendees will learn about HFDM/FOQA, SMS and HUMS – safety programs that will assist in meeting the safety challenges for helicopter operations. Topics include HFDM basics and techniques, actual case studies, views from the regulator, customer, vendors and operators, plus an interactive session on program implementation. Additionally, advanced content will focus on information sharing and SMS integration.
Notable, speakers include former FAA AFS-230 (Voluntary Safety Programs) Manager, Dr. Thomas Longridge, NASA consultant, Bob Lynch and PHI, Air Methods, Phoenix Heliflight, Shell Aircraft, American Eurocopter, 7 Bar Aviation, RCMI, CAPACG, and Baldwin Aviation.
