John Adams

John AdamsJohn Adams, system safety consultant for CAPACG came on board in 2011.

John’s roots in aviation began 40 years ago when he soloed at the age of 16.  In the years that followed he built a resume which includes seven years of experience spanning the globe in corporate aviation and over 25 years of tenure with a legacy carrier serving as a Line Captain and First Officer.  John holds FAA certifications as an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with type certifications in A320, A330, B737, B757, B767, BA111, DC9, FK28, LRJET, Commercial Rotorcraft and an FE Turbojet.  This extensive history of experience enables John to bring a wealth of knowledge to CAPACG.

John’s formal education includes a BA degree from the University of South Florida with a major in Geography, a minor in Mathematics and extensive studies in Meteorology.  As an active alumnus, John has served four years on the Board of Directors.

John anticipates the challenges of the implementation of Safety Managements Systems (SMS) in aviation.
