Maciej Majewski joined CAPACG as an Aviation Safety Program Consultant in January 2012.
Maciej originates from Warsaw, Poland, and comes from a family of aviation professionals. His father was an air traffic controller and later radio operator aboard LOT Polish Airlines aircraft, while his grandfather was an active pilot in the airline for almost 40 years.
Maciej began his flight training at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2006, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science, with a minor in Aviation Safety. He is currently completing his Master of Science in Aeronautics degree, with specializations in Safety and Operations. He has completed two internships with his home air carrier, LOT Polish Airlines, first in the Technical Publications Department, and later in the Flight Safety Department.
Maciej maintains flight currency and has a total time of approximately 320 hours. He is also working on JAA ATPL exams, with the eventual goal of flying commercially in Europe.
